Frequently Asked Questions
Are you licensed and insured?Absolutely. We are fully licensed commercial drone pilots operating under the FAA Part 107 framework. We carry comprehensive aviation liability insurance on every single flight to protect our clients. We are happy to provide our digital certificates upon request.
Do I need to be present at the property during the flight? No, you do not need to be there as long as you have filled out our Property Access & Airspace Waiver and provided any necessary instructions (such as gate codes or specific angles you want highlighted).
How do your construction progress retainers work? Our progress packages are designed around your construction schedule. We coordinate with site managers to fly the exact same automated paths weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. This gives stakeholders an identical, highly precise visual time-lapse of the structural progress over time.
What happens if the weather is bad on the day of my flight?Drones cannot fly safely in heavy rain, thick fog, or high winds (typically over 20 mph). Because safety is priority, we track the weather closely beginning 48 hours before your flight. If conditions are unsafe, we will notify you and reschedule the flight for the next clear, mutually agreed-upon date at no extra charge.
Can you fly anywhere, or are there restrictions? While drones can fly in most places, the FAA restricts flights near major airports, military bases, or specific government areas. Before every job, we conduct a digital airspace checkout. If your location is in restricted airspace, we handle the legal process of requesting an official FAA authorization. if a location is completely blocked by temporary flight restrictions (TFR), we will work with you to reschedule.
What makes you different? We combine a thoughtful, human-centered approach with clear communication and reliable results. It’s not just what we do—it’s how we do it that sets us apart.
